Jeffrey S. Robin

Jeffrey S. Robin, Esq. is currently an Adjunct Professor at California Western School of Law and an independent consultant in the entertainment industry. From 2005 to 2007, Mr. Robin was a consultant to the Chief Operating Officer/General Counsel of International Creative Management, Inc. For 21 years prior to that, Mr. Robin worked for William Morris Agency, LLC. As a Senior Vice President and Worldwide Head of Business Affairs at William Morris, Mr. Robin was responsible for the negotiation and analysis of sophisticated matters involving personal services, rights acquisitions and distribution agreements primarily in the motion picture area.
He was also a member of the senior management team at the Agency. Before joining the William Morris Agency, he was a partner at Buchalter, Nemer, Fields and Younger from 1976 to 1984. Mr. Robin began his law career in a General Civil Practice before becoming heavily involved in the entertainment industry as an attorney for Capitol Records, Inc. from 1971 to 1973, and for Paramount Pictures Corporation from 1974 to 1976.
Mr. Robin is currently a Member of the Board of Directors of the California State University San Marcos Foundation. He earned his Juris Doctor Degree from Loyola Law School of Los Angeles and a BA in Psychology from the University of Southern California. Mr. Robin is a member of the State Bar of California and is affiliated with the San Diego County Bar Association, Los Angeles County Bar Association, Beverly Hills Bar Association, and the Los Angeles Copyright Society.
