Henry O. Johnson
Commander (Retired), U.S. Navy
Henry Johnson retired from the U.S. Navy with the rank of Commander. Since then, he has worked exclusively in the defense industry supporting the Naval Air Systems Command at NAS North Island while at Anteon Corporation and The Space and Naval Warfare Command in San Diego as the Director of Business operations at CSC.
He has more than 20 years of operational and leadership experience spanning both a military and private industry background. His military operational experience includes deployments aboard U.S. Navy aircraft carriers as an H-3 helicopter pilot and Anti-Submarine Warfare operator. His additional affiliations include: Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association-AFCEA (Silicon Bayou charter officer, San Diego AFCEA Chapter President and San Diego AFCEA Chapter Board of Directors); National Defense Industrial Association-NDIA; Naval Helicopter Association-NHA (Trustee); Fleet Week San Diego (Board of Directors); San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce Military Affairs Advisory Council (MAAC) Executive Committee member and a charter member of San Diego Military Affairs Committee (SDMAC).
Henry graduated from Hobart College in Geneva, New York in 1977, with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature, and holds a Master of Science in Administration from Central Michigan University, which he received in 1989.
