Alexandra Squires
Executive Director, San Diego Fleet Week Foundation
Alexandra Squires is the Executive Director of the San Diego Fleet Week Foundation, a non-profit, public benefit corporation dedicated to giving back to the servicemen and women of our country. As the Executive Director, she reports to the Fleet Week Board of Directors and is responsible for the financial, operational and planning aspects of the Foundation. Prior to her current position, Ms. Squires served as the Director of Sponsor Relations, and was responsible for fundraising for the Foundation, as well as worked with the many generous sponsors whose support is vital to the success of Fleet Week San Diego. Previous to her employment at Fleet Week she was a volunteer with the Foundation for several years.
She feels that being part of Fleet Week San Diego is a spectacular way for the San Diego community to show their appreciation to the men and women of the military who serve our country and protect our freedom.
She is a native Californian who has also lived in Oregon, Texas and Spain. Ms. Squires graduated from the University of San Diego. She serves on the board of the San Diego Bowl Game Association which produces the Holiday Bowl and Poinsettia Bowl college football games. She is an avid San Diego Padres fan and enjoys traveling.
